This is one of my favorite images taken for here, mothers are but it didn't fit into the final edit. The portrait is of Sister Ann. An incredible woman who helped create the Dominican Center for Women 22 years ago and continues to volunteer at the center despite her retirement. She was present in every facet of this project because of the compassion she has shown the women we interviewed and her uniting spirit embodied at the Center.
