been a little busy...

The past three months have been full with new experiences. A new collaboration with Adam Carr to create a temporary public art piece in Milwaukee's Amani neighborhood.

Over a period of three months, we conducted living room interviews with women and families connected to the Dominican Center for Women. Those intimate and varied experiences have been translated to mural photographs, text and interactive audio which populate a pop-up gallery as well as the boards of a neighboring foreclosed home between 24th & 25th on Locust St in Milwaukee WI.  A series of 200 lawn signs with the title "here, mothers are...," an invitation to complete the sentence, as well as an image from the exhibition were distributed to neighbors and visitors at our opening reception.

here, mothers are will be on view thru mid October and has its own website here.

The project has been discussed here & here.
