Heading east for a foto filled weekend...

It is spring break and the whole family is NYC bound for AIPAD this weekend. Looking forward to taking in as much work as I can while enjoying family visits and birthday celebrations!

Lucky for us it is also the opening of Colleen Plumb's - Animals are Outside Today - solo exhibition at Jen BekmanOPENING RECEPTION: Friday, March 18th from 6-8p.m.

I am very excited for Colleen who has been working relentlessly on this project. The first time I saw Colleen's work in Chicago's City Gallery Historic Water Tower in 2009 I was taken by how lush her prints were. Now we are all eager to see the beautiful prints as well as a sneak peak at her new book by Radius Books.
