Sonja Thomsen is enthralled by the materiality
of the photograph and its relationship to form and narrative. She
employs myriad strategies to shift the frame by creating installations
and objects and using the spaces between photographs to tell a larger
story. She will talk about her installation-based works, her use of
series to carry content, and her recent foray into sculpture.
