I had a great time at the Indianapolis Art Center last Friday. The exhibition "Art from the Heartland," juried by Paul Klein, is a lovely regional show with conceptual rigor. I used the opportunity of being an "out of towner" to shoot some fly on the wall footage of visitors interacting with lacuna. It was really rewarding to see people's enthusiasm for the installation as a whole as well as the photograph they took with them. This piece really has a life of its own.
