David Goldes in Milwaukee

It was great to have David Goldes in Milwaukee on Thursday and Friday. CoPA and MIAD sponsored his visit to Milwaukee to talk about his work. He gave a wonderful lecture about his photographs of and about water and his newer body of work "Traces"-one seen below. It was a pleasure talking with him about his work, teaching at MCAD, grant writing, literature, film...etc. He was gracious with his knowledge and time. It is always a treat to be able to connect and talk with an artist one admires. It was THE way to end a long week.
