Oil spills...

In San Francisco Bay

Eric Risberg / Associated Press
An oil slick spreads out along the San Francisco Bay. About 58,000 gallons of oil were spilled into the bay after the cargo ship Cosco Busan crashed into the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, leaving a gash nearly 100 feet long in the 926-foot vessel.

and the Black Sea. The oil spill in the Black Sea is called a "ecological disaster"

plateau |plaˈtō|

verb ( -teaus, -teaued, -teauing) [ intrans. ] reach a state of little or no change after a time of activity or progress

I have come to terms with being at/on my current plateau... It is part of the artistic process, right? It is a challenging place to be with ones work... I am plugging away at the studio as often as I can in hopes of finding that clue to the next upslope. In the mean time I have been finding quite a few of images I have made on a whim that reference the "greats." So I want to have some fun while here on my plateau... look forward to seeing some fun pairs in the future.... we will start with:
