MIAD Pre College...

I have been teaching a pre-college photography class at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. It ended today.. it was a vigorous 2 weeks of 30 students a day. High School students are a different pace from undergraduates.
We covered digital photography and film photography (via Holga) in two weeks... I was so impressed with how quickly they caught on to both processes. The students have an exhibition at MIAD tomorrow, Saturday, from 9:30 - 11 am. Although I can not show you all of the work they created I can share the blog they posted. They had an emulation assignment over the weekend,check out the artists they looked into and their emulations here, enjoy.

Review in the Shepherd Express, Milwaukee WI

Milwaukee's Shepherd Express published a review of my show at Dean Jensen Gallery titled Blue Water, Black Gold. Peggy Sue Dunigan is eloquent with words.

She talks vriefly about the new boxed set that I have recently finished with Electric Works in San Francisco. I will post more about that soon.
